  • Digital food scale

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 245 g salted butter (melted)
  • 155 g brown sugar
  • 65 g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 340 g all-purpose flour
  • 75 g white chocolate chip
  • 15 crushed oreo pieces
  • 8 crushed oreo pieces for topping

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan. Line the pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted salted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using a whisk until well mixed.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract) and salt until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Sift the all-purpose flour, and baking soda into the bowl. Using a spatula, gently fold in the ingredients until just combined.
  5. Add the white chocolate chips and crushed Oreo pieces to the batter, and fold them in with a spatula until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased and lined baking pan, spreading it out with a spatula. Sprinkle crushed Oreo pieces on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice the bars into individual servings and serve. Enjoy!!
